You walk the Almannagjá gorge where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, stand at the Law Rock where Iceland's first parliament convened, and see the rift valley cut through the landscape. After Gullfoss, a shared glacier monster bus carries everyone to the Langjökull base, where you put on the snow mono suit, gloves, overshoes, and helmet. The snowmobile ride covers the pristine white glacier for one hour, two people per machine.

The tour runs 11 hours total. Your guide speaks English and travels with the group throughout. The snowmobile portion is shared, so you ride with one other person. A valid driver's license is required to operate the snowmobile. Children as young as six can join, though only one child per adult is permitted on the machine.
