The experience
The boat leaves Milos and heads first to Kimolos, a small island with traditional fishing villages and the distinctive Elephant Rock formation. From there you move to Poliegos, a large uninhabited island where wild goats roam and volcanic rock formations rise from the water. The centerpiece is Blue Bay, where the sea turns turquoise-light blue and you get an extended stop to explore the seabed, swim through caves and simply sit with the landscape. The Sulfur Mines beach and its abandoned Old Sulfur Mines site offer striking photo moments before the boat turns back toward Milos.
Gerakas Beach is where the snorkeling truly opens up. The white sandy bottom has a leopard-like pattern, and on most days thermal springs bubble up through the water: a sensation you feel while finning over them. This beach is only reachable by boat, so you're not competing with land-based swimmers. Tsigrado Beach follows, known for its cave-lined coastline and the ladder that normally marks the only way down. Your boat delivers you straight to the water instead. Then comes Kleftiko, one of Greece's most photographed spots: massive volcanic rocks jut from the sea, and you snorkel through the formations where pirates once anchored their ships. The day ends at Sikia Cave, a vast cavern open to the sky where the roof has collapsed inward, leaving a small beach inside where you can swim.
The captain handles navigation and timing. You bring only your comfort level. Snorkel gear, paddleboards and a sea scooter are yours to use throughout the day. The boat carries WiFi, fresh towels, windproof jackets and a restroom. Food is freshly made with local vegetarian options, and Greek wine, beer and cocktails flow freely. A drone captures photos and a short video of the day at no extra cost. You choose your boat size at checkout (a 30ft, 36ft or 42ft vessel), and can add a seaside lunch stop if the day's rhythm calls for it.

Is this one for you?A full day suits travelers who want to snorkel multiple spots without managing their own boat or navigation. The extended stops at Blue Bay and Kleftiko let you linger where the water and light are best, rather than racing through a fixed schedule, and the captain's knowledge of thermal springs and cave timing means you arrive at each site when it's most rewarding.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Greek.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the snorkeling like at Gerakas Beach on Milos?
Gerakas Beach has a white sandy bottom with a distinctive leopard-like pattern and thermal springs that bubble up through the water most days, creating a unique sensation while you snorkel. The beach is only accessible by boat, so it stays quieter than land-based snorkeling spots.
Can I use a paddleboard and sea scooter on the same day?
Yes, both the paddleboard and sea scooter are included and available throughout the day. You can use whichever suits the moment: paddling in calm bays or using the scooter to cover more water at the stops where you want to explore farther.
What happens at Kleftiko Bay?
Kleftiko is a dramatic site of massive volcanic rocks rising from the sea where pirates once hid their ships. You snorkel through the rock formations in clear water and spend time photographing the landscape before the boat moves on to Sikia Cave.
How long do you spend at Blue Bay in Poliegos?
Blue Bay gets an extended stop so you can explore the seabed, swim through caves and take in the turquoise-light blue water without rushing. The exact time depends on the day's flow, but it's built as one of the main moments of the tour.
Is lunch included, or can I add it?
Fresh local food with vegetarian options is served aboard throughout the day, along with Greek wine, beer and cocktails. An optional seaside lunch stop at a specific location can be added at checkout if you prefer to eat ashore.
What size boat will I be on?
You choose at checkout between a 30ft boat, 36ft boat or 42ft yacht. All carry the same captain, snorkel gear, paddleboards, sea scooter and onboard amenities. The size option lets you pick the vessel that fits your group.
