The experience
The Sailing Edisa leaves Rhodes New Marina at 09:00 and heads straight to Anthony Quinn Bay, a turquoise cove on the east coast where the water is deep and clear enough to see the marine life below. You swim and snorkel here first, with snorkeling equipment and floating noodles provided. Non-swimmers wear a life jacket and can wade in the shallows. The boat then moves to Ladiko, a smaller bay ringed by golden sand and dramatic cliffs, where you have time for another swim before the chef calls you aboard for lunch.
Lunch is a three-course meal prepared in the galley: an Edisa salad with feta and herbs from the captain's garden, a choice of grilled pork belly with pasta or tender chicken with jasmine rice (vegetarian options available on request), and a selection of Vietnamese imperial rolls. Wine pairings come from a premium C.A.I.R. selection, and the captain mixes a signature cocktail called the Edisa Breeze. Champagne, beer, and soft drinks are also on hand. You eat on deck while the boat sails toward Kallithea Springs.
Kallithea Springs sits on the coast sixteen kilometers south of Rhodes Town, a restored Italian-style complex built in 1928 above natural hot springs. The water here is known for its clarity and the abundance of small fish. You snorkel again or simply float in the bay. The boat departs Kallithea in the late afternoon and returns to Rhodes New Marina by around 15:00. The crew speaks English, French, German, Vietnamese, and two other languages, and the service is tailored to your group's pace and preferences: music playlists, custom mocktails for children, and the flexibility to linger at any stop.
