A two-dive scuba experience in Chania where you descend to 12 meters under instructor guidance, practice essential underwater skills, and earn your SSI Basic Diver Certification on the same day. The Experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel or a meeting at the dive center, where you'll meet your instructor and run through the theory and safety guidelines you need before entering the water. You'll select your own gear with guidance, then head to the beach to prepare. The first dive lasts about 45 minutes as you descend to depths up to 12 meters, practicing the skills your instructor has just walked you through. After you surface, there's a break with fresh fruit or light snacks to recharge before the second dive.

The second dive follows the same structure—another 45 minutes exploring the coastal waters with your instructor at your side. Throughout both dives, you're building the competencies that earn you the SSI Basic Diver Certification, which gets recorded in digital learning materials you can access on the SSI app after the day ends. When you're done, you'll head back to the dive center to change, then either get transferred back to your accommodation or leave on your own.

All the equipment you need is provided, as is the diving insurance that covers you underwater. The instructor speaks English and Greek, and the whole outing—from pickup through both dives and return—takes about five hours. Bottled water is on hand throughout, and the air-conditioned vehicle means the ride to and from the beach is comfortable even on a warm day.
