The experience
Three hours is enough to move through two distinct sites without rushing. The tour starts at the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds in the southeast corner of Nuremberg, where the massive structures still stand: the German Coliseum, the first World War monument where Nazi propaganda began, and the most important building of the Nazi regime. These remnants, built across 4 square miles, were designed to impress and intimidate. A guide walks you through what remains and explains how the scale itself was meant to demonstrate power.
The second half moves to Courtroom 600 inside the Palace of Justice, where the International Military Tribunal tried the major war criminals from November 1945 through October 1946. This is the actual room where that trial unfolded. Twelve subsequent trials followed in the same courtroom before U.S. military tribunals through 1949. Standing in the space where those proceedings happened gives the historical record a physical anchor.
Groups max out at eight people, so the pace stays manageable and questions get answered. Your guide is live and speaks your language: English, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian. Pickup is included in the booking. Note that the Palace of Justice closes Tuesdays, so plan around that day.

What exactly is left of the Nazi Rally Grounds after all these years?
The former Nazi Party Rally Grounds in southeast Nuremberg still contain massive structures built across 4 square miles, including the German Coliseum, a World War I monument, and the regime's most important ceremonial building. They stand as evidence of the scale and ambition behind the rallies, though not every original structure remains intact.
Is this tour only about the buildings, or do I actually go inside Courtroom 600?
Courtroom 600 is part of the tour itinerary. You stand in the actual room where the Major War Criminals Trial was held from 1945 to 1946, and where twelve subsequent trials took place afterward.
