The experience

You start at Papeete aerodrome with a private Cessna flight over Moorea's turquoise lagoon before the day's driving begins. Back on the island, a guide leads you through Tahiti's coast in a private air-conditioned vehicle, stopping at Point Venus to see the black sand beach and the lighthouse, then moving inland to the Arahoho Blowhole: a natural phenomenon where ocean spray shoots through a rock opening. The Faarumai Waterfalls come next, a three-waterfall cascade at the bottom of a valley surrounded by dense green forest.

The route also passes the Maraa caves, where fresh water pools allow swimming, and a garden with flowering trees and ponds.
