The experience
The tour starts inside the winemaking cellar, where a guide walks you through how grapes become wine. You see the equipment and methods the estate uses, learning the specific steps that shape Palette's identity. From there, you move into the barrel cellar to understand how aging develops the wines' depth and complexity. This is not a tasting-room visit. You're standing where the work happens.
The tasting comes at the end, after you've seen the process. A guide pours three wines (white, rosé, and red), and teaches you to recognize the aromas and subtleties in each one. You learn how the Palette terroir (the soil, the slope, the microclimate at the foot of Montagne Sainte-Victoire) shapes what's in the glass. The whole experience runs about an hour and stays small and personal, the kind of thing a family winery can offer.
What’s included

Is this one for you?Small groups work best here, since the cellars and tasting are led by one guide who keeps the experience personal and unhurried. If you want to understand how a specific wine is made rather than just taste it, this estate visit beats a tasting room in town.
