Children aged 4 to 14 sit in a sledge towed behind the guide's snowmobile. If a child over 140 cm wants to ride as a passenger on a machine, that costs a full adult price depending on availability.

The reindeer farm is where the pace slows. You take a short sleigh ride pulled by reindeer, then settle in to hear stories about the herding life and traditions while you drink something hot. Winter clothing is provided, so you don't need to guess what layers work in the Arctic. The whole day includes pickup and drop-off at selected Rovaniemi hotels, a guide speaking English, and a reindeer driving license as a keepsake.
