The experience

Kotatieva sits in a forest clearing just outside Rovaniemi and runs on a single-ticket model: you pay once and move between activities all day. The centerpiece is a 500m ice skating trail that loops through the trees, not a rink, but an actual forest path frozen solid. Families with small children have a separate area with a sled hill and kicksled rides (a standing sled you push with one foot).
