The experience

The first thing I remember is the sound: birds somewhere above us, and this low hum of nerves as we got harnessed up for the zipline. We were just outside Nadi, but honestly it felt like another world. Our guide, Saki, handed me my helmet with a grin and said something about “Fijian flying lessons.” I laughed but my hands were sweating. The first zip was wild.
