The experience

Sky Wave Gin sits in Oxford, and the experience starts the moment you arrive with a complimentary G&T in hand. While you settle in, the distiller tells you how the gin came about (a story that involves some happy accident), and walks you through what makes it smooth enough to stand out. You'll meet the two production stills, see how they work, and if the timing is right, watch them distilling live.

The tasting comes next, and it follows the formal method used in international spirits competitions. You'll sample three of the seven gins in the range, guided through the nuances of each one. The Master Distiller who created The World's Best Contemporary Gin leads some of these sessions, so you're learning from the person who designed the flavours. The whole thing takes 75 minutes, and by the end you'll know what you're tasting instead of just guessing.

After the formal tasting wraps, you can relax in the bar and order another drink if you want one. The 10% discount on all shop purchases is yours to use on the day. Everything from bottles to merchandise. If you're driving and can't drink, Drivers' Packs are available to take home instead.
