Snorkeling in Marsa Mubarak from Marsa Alam: dolphins and lunch
Coral reefs, dolphins, sea turtles, and lunch on the boat
A full-day snorkeling trip from Marsa Alam to Marsa Mubarak in the Red Sea, with boat transport, snorkeling equipment, lunch and hotel pickup included. You gear up and enter the water to explore coral formations and encounter marine life, guided by an instructor. The boat returns mid-afternoon with time to relax on deck before heading back to your hotel.
The Experience
The boat leaves Marsa Alam in the morning and heads toward Marsa Mubarak, a snorkeling site known for coral reefs and marine life. Once you arrive, you put on the snorkeling gear and life vest provided, then enter the water with the guide. Schools of fish move through the coral, and the site is home to dolphins and sea turtles — what you see depends on the day and the season, but the reef itself is the constant. You spend several hours in and out of the water, exploring different sections of the site at a pace the guide sets.
Between snorkeling sessions, you're back on the boat. Lunch is served as an open buffet — freshly prepared dishes, unlimited soft drinks and water included. You eat on deck with views of the coast, and there's time to rest in the sun before the afternoon snorkeling begins. The whole day runs about eight hours from pickup to drop-off.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, though the timing depends on where you're staying. Hotels farther from Marsa Alam may add an extra hour or two to the pickup window, so the operator asks you to confirm your location when you book. The guide speaks English, Italian or Russian depending on the option you choose.
