Three snorkeling sessions with dugongs and giant turtles in one morning

A full-day snorkeling trip from Marsa Alam to Marsa Mubarak includes three guided sessions in the water, hotel pickup, lunch onboard, and all gear. You swim with dugongs and encounter the largest turtles in the Red Sea, with a guide who briefs you on marine life and safety before you enter the water.

The Experience

The boat leaves Port Ghalib Marine, 1km south of Marsa Alam airport, after pickup from your hotel. A 25-minute ride takes you to Marsa Mubarak, where your guide gives a short orientation on what you'll see and how to stay safe in the water. Then you get three separate snorkeling sessions: one focused on dugongs, another on the largest turtles in the Red Sea, and a final exploration of the reef. Between sessions you rest on deck.

Snorkeling equipment and a life vest are provided; the guide stays with the group underwater. Lunch—a buffet prepared onboard—comes after the sessions end, along with mineral water, soft drinks and hot tea throughout the day. The return to Port Ghalib and your hotel wraps up the trip after roughly 8.5 hours total.
