The experience

A comfortable, well-equipped boat takes you out to Marsa Mubarak Bay, and on the way your guide goes over the plan and the snorkeling guidelines. The bay itself is a protected marine reserve with calm waters, where wild green sea turtles feed in their natural habitat. You'll get into the water right off the boat and snorkel above colorful coral formations with a professional guide alongside. Tropical fish move through the reefs in schools. The turtles are what draw most snorkelers, and they swim close enough that you can watch them graze on seagrass without chasing them.
