The experience

The boat leaves from Marsa Alam marina after hotel pickup and a scenic drive to the coast. You'll board a spacious vessel equipped for comfort and safety, then sail out to Sataya Reef, also called Dolphin House Reef, where the water stays clear and the marine life is dense. A professional guide briefs you on snorkeling technique and safety before you enter the water, and snorkeling equipment is provided onboard. The reef itself is the draw: colorful coral gardens, schools of exotic fish, and the spinner dolphins that hunt and rest here. They move through the water fast and unpredictably, so sightings are not guaranteed, but the reef is a known hotspot for encounters.

You'll make two snorkeling stops during the day, both at the reef. Between them, the boat's sun deck is where you rest, dry off and eat.
