PickupAt your hotel

The seabed here holds more fish species than most aquariums.

A full-day snorkeling trip from Hurghada to Orange Bay Island and two reef sites in the Red Sea, with hotel pickup, boat lunch and all equipment provided. You swim and relax for two hours at Orange Bay, then snorkel two separate locations after lunch, returning to Hurghada Marina around 4pm. The guide speaks English, German or Russian, and soft drinks run all day.

The Experience

Your driver picks you up from your hotel between 7:45am and 8:15am in an air-conditioned vehicle and brings you to Hurghada Marina, where the boat departs. The sail to Orange Bay Island takes two hours—time to settle in with a sofa, umbrella and the water ahead. Once there, you get a two-hour stop to swim and float in the shallows, with the reef life visible from the surface and the Caribbean sun overhead the whole time.

After Orange Bay, the boat heads back out for lunch served on deck. Then come the two snorkeling stops at different reef locations, where you use the provided mask and fins to move through the bright colors the Red Sea is known for. The guide stays with the group and speaks English, German or Russian depending on who is on the boat. Soft drinks and water are available throughout the day. The return to Hurghada Marina is around 4pm.

The trip runs eight hours total from pickup to drop-off. Bring your own towel—that is the one thing not provided. If you are staying outside central Hurghada (Makadi, Safaga, ElGouna or Sahl Hasheesh), let the operator know at booking, as pickup from those areas carries an extra fee.

Is this one for you?If you are staying in a Hurghada hotel without a car, the pickup and return to the marina settle the logistics—you do not arrange transport or timing, and the boat leaves at a fixed hour so the day holds together. The two snorkeling stops plus the Orange Bay swim fit inside eight hours because the boat does the moving between them.

How do I get picked up, and what if I'm staying outside central Hurghada?

Hotel pickup is included from central Hurghada hotels between 7:45am and 8:15am depending on how far your hotel is from the marina. If you are staying in Makadi, Safaga, ElGouna or Sahl Hasheesh, an extra fee applies; contact the operator when you book to arrange it.

What snorkeling equipment is provided?

Masks and swimming fins are included for both snorkeling stops. Bring your own towel; the operator does not provide one.

How long do I spend in the water at each location?
