The experience

The boat leaves Hurghada marina in the morning and heads across the Red Sea to two snorkeling stops at colorful coral reefs. You'll have equipment and a professional guide at each one, so you can focus on the tropical fish and reef structure instead of managing gear. The first stop is the longer of the two, giving you time to move through different sections of the reef and get comfortable in the water.

One introductory diving stop follows the snorkeling. An instructor leads you through the basics and stays with you the whole time, so it's designed for people who've never dived before. You descend to a shallow depth where you can see the same marine life but from a different angle than snorkeling offers. After that, the boat heads to Hula Hula Island itself, where you get roughly 90 minutes to swim, sunbathe, walk the beach or just sit with a drink.
