The experience

A professional photographer follows your group through the Giza Plateau with a Sony A7RV, capturing you against the pyramids and Sphinx while a guide walks you through the sites. Your first stop frames the three pyramids and the Sphinx together: the photographer positions you for the best angles while the guide explains what you're standing in front of. From there you move to the Valley Temple of Khafre, where the guide describes how King Chefren's body was mummified and walks you through the purification process. A chamber inside the temple connects directly to the Sphinx, your third stop.

At the Sphinx, the guide covers seven different theories about what it is and what historians believe, and you have time to work with the photographer on portraits. A fourth stop between the Great Pyramid and Khafre's pyramid lets you compare the two side by side. The rearing-horse photoshoot happens during the tour. You're positioned on a jumping horse while the photographer captures the moment with the monuments behind you. A 30-minute camel ride is also part of the day. At the end, the photographer delivers edited images with professional color and contrast work, ready to share.

A licensed guide in English walks the group through Egyptian history, mummification and the Sphinx's mysteries. Pickup and drop-off by private air-conditioned vehicle are handled for you. The group stays small. If you want to enter a pyramid or ride an ATV quad bike, those are optional add-ons at checkout and cost extra.
