The experience
You arrive in Aswan and are met by an English-speaking representative who transfers you by private air-conditioned van to your cruise ship, with check-in before noon and lunch already waiting on board. That afternoon, you take a motorboat to Philae Temple, built during the Graeco-Roman period and dedicated to the goddess Isis, then return to the ship for your first evening free to explore Aswan on your own or relax on deck.
Day two begins with breakfast on board before your Egyptologist guide leads you to Kom Ombo Temple, where two gods (Sobek and Haroeris) were worshipped. You lunch on the sun deck watching the Nile landscape pass, then ride by chariot to Edfu's Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Back on the ship, an Egyptian folkloric show runs after dinner. Day three takes you to Luxor's west bank: the Valley of the Kings (the royal cemetery where pharaohs were buried), Hatshepsut Temple (carved inside the mountain), and the Colossi of Memnon. You return to the ship for lunch and have the afternoon free.
On the final morning, you check out after breakfast and tour Luxor's east bank, starting with the Karnak Temple Complex, the world's largest temple construction, and finishing at Luxor Temple, built by 12th-dynasty kings and completed by Ramses II. A private van then transfers you to your hotel, airport, or railway station in Luxor, ending the tour. All transportation between sites, accommodation for three nights, and all meals are included. You choose your cabin category (Standard, Deluxe, or Ultra-Deluxe) at checkout, and the ship departs guaranteed every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
