The experience
Four hours gets you through lush landscapes to Chamana Waterfall, where the real work starts. You'll rappel down canyon walls with an expert guide managing your descent, using a harness, helmet and all the technical gear the operator supplies. The water below is clear enough to see the rocks as you drop into it, and the canyon walls rise around you thick with vegetation. No previous canyoning experience is required. The guides are trained to walk you through every step and keep the adrenaline matched to your comfort level.
The team equips you in a wetsuit, jacket, helmet, shoes and harness before you start, so you're protected from the cold water and the rock. As you descend, you'll move through a series of pools and canyon sections, each one a different angle on the waterfall and the jungle around it. The guides stay with you the whole time, managing the ropes and making sure you're secure. Once you've finished, the operator sends your photos and videos directly to your email: no separate purchase, no waiting for a link.
Transportation from Baños is included, so you don't arrange your own way to the trailhead. The activity runs in English or Spanish depending on your guide, and children from age 6 can join. Bring a swimsuit and towel of your own. Everything else (the technical gear, the safety equipment, the transportation) is part of the booking.
What’s included
