The Experience
The day starts with hotel pickup from Punta Cana and a drive to Bayahíbe, where you board a speedboat for the journey to the Natural Pool. This shallow turquoise lagoon is where you'll swim and spot starfish in their natural habitat before moving on to Saona Island itself. The speedboat crossing takes you to one of the Dominican Republic's most famous island destinations, known for its white-sand beaches and calm, clear water.
At Saona Island, you have time to relax beneath the palm trees and swim in the crystal-clear water. A Dominican buffet lunch is served on the island with drinks included—rum, beer, soft drinks and bottled water are available throughout the day. Snacks are also provided, so you're fed and hydrated without needing to arrange meals separately.
The return to Punta Cana happens by catamaran, and this leg becomes its own experience: the crew provides music, dancing and live entertainment, with an open bar available for the sail back. Round-trip transportation, both boat transfers, and onboard facilities including a restroom are all part of the package.
