Buggy, Horse & Zip Line in Punta Cana: All 3 Activities
Eight zip lines strung between trees, then dirt trails on horseback, then a buggy through the jungle.
A combined activity in Punta Cana where you choose to do all three — zip line across eight carbon fiber lines and a suspension bridge, ride horseback through ranches and river beds, and drive a buggy through jungle trails and hills. Private transportation, safety equipment, lunch and a live guide in English, Spanish, Italian or French are included; children from age 3 are welcome. You pick the activities that suit you.
Step-by-step itinerary
Buggy, Zip Line, and Horse Riding Adventure
- Zip line on 8 carbon fiber lines
- Horseback ride through trails and plantation
- Dune buggy ride through jungle trails
The Experience
You get picked up from your hotel and driven to the adventure park. The day is built around three separate stations, and you decide which ones to run through — all three or any combination that fits your energy and time. Most travelers do all of them, but the operator lets you skip what does not appeal. Private transport means no waiting for a group van to fill, and the guide stays with you through each activity.
The zip line course runs eight carbon fiber lines strung between trees, plus a suspension bridge connecting two of them. You clip in with safety gear and move through the canopy on each line in sequence. The horseback ride takes you through trails between ranches, hills and river beds, passing through a tree-covered ecosystem and a working cocoa plantation where a typical Dominican country house sits in the middle. The buggy ride is the roughest part — dirt roads, hills, ranches, dust and mud, moving through jungle terrain at a pace that keeps the adrenaline up. Lunch happens between activities, and bottled water is available throughout.
The whole day runs six hours from pickup to drop-off. The operator has been running this combination long enough to know the pacing — you are not rushed through any station, but the three activities fit inside one afternoon without bleeding into dinner plans. A live guide handles the logistics and safety briefings at each stop, and they speak your language.

Is this one for you?Six hours leaves room for a morning or evening activity elsewhere, but not for a second full-day excursion — book this if you want one concentrated day of three different things instead of spreading them across your stay. The operator lets you skip any activity that does not appeal, so you are not locked into all three if you arrive tired or change your mind.

Can I do just one or two of the activities instead of all three?
Yes. The operator lets you choose all three activities or pick only the ones you want — zip line alone, horseback riding alone, buggy riding alone, or any two-activity combination. You pay for what you do.
What does the horseback riding route actually cover?
The horseback ride takes you through trails between ranches and hills, down into river beds, and through a tree-covered ecosystem. You also visit a working cocoa plantation with a typical Dominican country house in the middle of it — not a tourist stop, but an actual working farm.
Is the buggy ride difficult, or is it just a slow drive?
The buggy ride is an active experience — you navigate dirt roads, hills, dust and mud through jungle terrain. It is not a paved tour; the roughness is part of it. The pace is exciting but controlled, and the operator rates it suitable for all physical fitness levels.
How long does each activity take?
The whole day is six hours from hotel pickup to drop-off. The three activities are spaced across that time with lunch in between, so no single activity dominates the schedule.
What age can children start doing these activities?
Children are welcome from age 3. The operator does not recommend the activities for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or poor cardiovascular health, so check your own situation before booking.
Is the zip line course difficult if I have never done it before?
The eight carbon fiber lines and suspension bridge are set up as a progressive course — you start on easier lines and work through them in sequence. Safety equipment is provided and fitted for you, and the guide briefs you before you clip in.
