The experience

You start at your hotel in Punta Cana and head inland for the buggy half. After a safety briefing from the certified crew, you drive your own ATV through muddy off-road trails, Dominican countryside dotted with palm trees, and hidden rural paths. Expect to get dirty. The route passes through working farmland where you stop at a local ranch to taste coffee and cacao, watch how they're processed by hand, and try mamajuana, a traditional Dominican drink. Then you ride to Macao Beach, one of the most recognizable stretches in Punta Cana, where you can swim and take photos before moving to the cave swim experience: a natural underground pool with clear water.

The party boat portion runs four hours and is adults-only. You board a catamaran with a live DJ spinning hip-hop, a full dance floor, and an unlimited open bar. Snorkeling happens in the Caribbean waters offshore. Transportation between activities and back to your hotel is included with a certified driver. The whole day is seven hours from pickup to return.

The operator recommends doing both activities on separate days if you want to enjoy each one fully. Gratuities for crew and drivers are not included but can be added. Lunch and meals are not part of the package, though they're available as add-ons during the party boat portion.
