The Charles Bridge walk takes you across the oldest span in the city, then into Old Town's maze of cobbled streets, not the main square first, but the hidden courtyards and passages where you'd never find your way alone. You see the Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter with its synagogues and the weight of its history, and Old Town Square itself, all in the first two and a half hours.
Then you walk to the river. The boat leaves at 12:30, and for 45 minutes you sit while the guide's audio commentary plays and the city slides past on both banks. The Vltava and the Certovka canal, the "Prague Venice", show you the castle from the water, the bridges stacked like layers, the light changing on the stone. There's a free drink and snack on board, which matters more than it sounds when you're halfway through a full day. You have an hour free after the boat docks, around 1:30pm, to grab lunch on your own (the guide gives recommendations) or just sit by the water.
At 3pm you meet again at the office on Mostecka and take the tram up to Prague Castle.
