Instead of climbing the cobblestone streets on foot, you're on an e-bike, e-scooter, or three-wheeled trike—your choice—moving through Prague's historic districts with a private guide who knows where the views open up and where the crowds thin out. The safety training takes maybe ten minutes, and then you're rolling toward the John Lennon Wall, Charles Bridge, and the Rudolfinum before most of the tour groups have finished their coffee.

The route covers the major landmarks but from angles you wouldn't get on a walking tour. You stop in front of Prague Castle—the world's largest castle complex—and ride up to Letná Park, where the city spreads out below you and the Prague Metronome (the former Stalin Monument site) sits on the hill. If you book the three-hour option, you get the Jewish Quarter and the Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square; the shorter tours skip those and focus on the viewpoints and the bridge. St. Vitus Cathedral appears as you climb, and Strahov Monastery sits at the top if you have the time. A 15th-century brewery is on the route too, though you're stopping to look, not to drink.

The vehicle choice matters. The two-wheeled e-scooter is nimble and feels closest to walking; the cruiser fat e-bike is stable and comfortable for longer stretches; the three-wheeled trike is the easiest if you want zero balance work, though you'll need a valid driver's license and you have to be between 18 and 69 years old. All three can ride together in one group, so if you're traveling with someone who wants a different setup, that works. The guide takes photos as you go, and you get unlimited water, coffee and tea at the start. Helmets are provided in all sizes, and if it's light rain—up to 1 mm per hour—they give you a raincoat and keep going.

Book the length that fits your schedule: 30 minutes hits the main sights, 60 minutes adds more viewpoints, and three hours gets you into the quieter neighborhoods and the older monuments. You need to be comfortable steering with both hands, and if you're riding with a child aged 1 to 6, there's a special child seat (EU certified) on a classic electric bike at no extra charge—just mention it when you book.
