The experience

Larnaca's clear Mediterranean waters and abundant marine life make it an ideal place to try scuba diving, and this experience removes the usual barriers: no certification, no group of strangers, no rush. Your private instructor meets you, explains the equipment and basic techniques, and guides you through underwater signals before you enter the water. The gently sloping shore means you can take your time getting comfortable with breathing underwater before the dive itself begins.

Once underwater, you'll swim through schools of fish, spot barracudas and lionfish, and if luck is on your side, encounter a sea turtle. The instructor stays focused on you alone: adjusting the pace, depth and route to match your experience level and how you're feeling in the moment. The dive lasts around two and a half hours total, including the briefing and entry.

Complimentary underwater photos are captured during the dive and usually sent via WhatsApp the same day. On request, selected shots can be formatted for social media. Pickup is included, and the experience welcomes divers aged 16 and up, regardless of fitness level.
