The experience

The tour runs five hours and covers two wineries selected for their international awards and local reputation. At each stop, a guide from the winery leads a professional tasting of fresh and aged wines made from indigenous Istrian grape varieties, plus blends with international grapes. Between tastings you visit the wine cellars and move through the landscape of Istria itself. Transport in an air-conditioned Volkswagen Touran is part of the price, so you don't navigate between locations or worry about driving after tasting.

Local snacks pair with the wines at both tastings. The operator arranges each tasting by special request, and you're free to buy wine if something appeals to you. There's no obligation. Groups are small: a minimum of two people per booking and a maximum of five in the standard option, though groups of six can be arranged on request as a single party.
