Paddle out, snorkel in, relax on the beach: all in one morning
Snorkeling on Supetar Island combines kayaking from Srebreno beach with a guided stop at the island, where you have an hour to snorkel, swim and rest on the beach. The experience
You start at Srebreno beach with an introduction to the guide and a quick safety rundown before paddling out in a kayak. The route heads first to Robinson beach, where the River Challenge waits: if you can sit for one minute in the cold stream flowing from the mountain river Ljuta, you get a free cold drink when you return. After a 20-minute break there, you paddle on to Supetar Island, your main stop.
Once at Supetar Island, you have a full hour to move at your own pace. Snorkeling gear is on hand, so you can go straight into the water to explore the underwater side of the island, or stay on the beach and swim. There's a beach bar on the island if you want to sit in the shade with a drink. The hour is yours to split however you want: some people spend it all in the water, others mix snorkeling with time on the sand.
The paddle back to Srebreno beach takes you past the Old Town of Dubrovnik and along the natural sights of the bay. The whole outing runs about three and a half hours from start to finish. Lifejackets, paddles and drybags are included, along with all snorkeling equipment. The guide speaks English and the activity welcomes children from age 4 onward.
