The experience

The cave itself is the draw: a tunnel carved into limestone that opens to the sea, accessible only by water. You anchor in front of it, then choose how to enter: swim, snorkel, or paddle in on a SUP board. The legend attached to it (Odysseus sheltering there after a shipwreck, captivated by the nymph Calypso) is woven into the place itself, not narrated as a story. Once you're in the water, the equipment is there: snorkelling gear fitted to you, noodles and SUP boards on the yacht, a jet-fitted scuba option if you want it.

Cliff jumping happens above the cave, from the rocks that frame it. The Calypso bar sits on top of those same cliffs (a real bar, not a beach shack), where you can order drinks between the water and the heights. Lunch is Mediterranean food served on the yacht itself, not a packed cooler. The yacht is 15 meters, air-conditioned, and carries your group only. The 45-minute cruise from Korcula gets you there, and the full outing runs six hours from pickup to return.

A live guide in English, French or German is with you throughout. Children from age 6 are welcome. The activity asks for a moderate level of fitness (cliff jumping and water entry are the physical elements), and it's not suitable for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns.
