A shipwreck, an octopus, sea urchin caviar straight from the water

Snorkel two sites around Korcula Island's archipelago on a private half-day yacht with a live guide, complete gear and lunch. The boat picks you up from your hotel, takes you to a shallow shipwreck and a second reef site where visibility can reach 20 meters, then serves hand-picked sea urchins with local wine and fresh fruit back on deck before returning you to your accommodation.

The experience

The 50-foot motor yacht leaves Lumbarda Village with a maximum small group, meaning you're not competing for space or the guide's attention. After a briefing and gear check, you drop into the water at a shipwreck off the Peljesac Peninsula: shallow enough that no diving certification is needed, but deep enough to see schools of fish, octopuses, crabs and starfish moving through the wreck. The second site is Moro Beach STUPE, where the same marine life congregates around the reef.

Between the two snorkeling spots, you're back on the yacht for lunch: the hand-picked sea urchins arrive with a lemon wedge and a carafe of local white wine, followed by a light spread and fresh fruit. The guide stays with you throughout, pointing out what's moving in the water and answering questions about what you're seeing. Water visibility in summer months can reach as high as 20 meters, which means the detail (the color, the movement, the scale of the fish) stays sharp all the way down.

The return to Lumbarda takes about half an hour, and your hotel transfer is waiting. Total time from pickup to drop-off is five hours.

Is this one for you?The small-group format keeps the guide focused and the boat uncrowded, which suits anyone who wants attention and space rather than a packed-boat experience. The fixed itinerary (two snorkeling stops, lunch on deck, a five-hour window) works for travelers with a set schedule. If you need flexibility to stay longer at one site or skip the second, this structure won't bend.
