Learn sailing hands-on, then anchor in a quiet bay to swim

A five-hour sailing class on the Adriatic near Korcula, tailored to your wishes and taught by an experienced captain who shares both technique and a way of seeing the water. You'll handle the boat under supervision, explore islands and bays away from crowds, and swim in clear water. Small groups only, with flexible start times and departure points to suit your day and the wind.

The experience

Five hours on the water means you move at the pace of the wind, not a schedule. The captain teaches you how sailing actually works (winds, weather, the boat itself) by putting you at the helm under supervision, or you can simply relax under the sails if that's what the day calls for. Either way, you're not crammed into a vessel and driven around. This is built on what you want to do.

The route depends on conditions: you'll sail among the small islands near Korcula and Lumbarda with views toward the Pelješac mountain, then anchor in a natural uninhabited bay or shoal for swimming. Snorkeling masks are on board. Start and finish times are flexible, as is the departure point within a feasible range, so the trip fits the rest of your day and adapts if the weather shifts. If conditions turn rough, you'll discuss rescheduling or canceling together.

An experienced captain leads in English, Spanish, French or Croatian, and pickup is included. Advanced sailing lessons are possible if you want to push further, or you can book a lazy ride focused on the scenery and the water itself.

What’s included

  • Sailing instruction from an experienced captain.
  • snorkeling masks for the swimming stop.
  • pickup from your location.
  • guide in English, Spanish, French or Croatian.

What does a typical five-hour sailing trip include?

The trip includes time sailing among nearby islands, anchoring in a quiet bay for swimming, and snorkeling gear. Food is not included, though you can bring your own or be taken to a restaurant.
