The experience

The lesson starts with gear: you get fitted with a wetsuit and life jacket, then head to the wakeboard spot by zodiac. Once there, the instructor runs through the safety rules before you get in the water. About 20 minutes of your 30-minute session is actual riding time, so you're on the board, not waiting around.

How the lesson unfolds depends on where you're starting. If you've never wakeboarded, the instructor walks you through how to get out of the water without hurting yourself, the right posture to hold, and then you start behind the boat. For riders who already know the basics, you can work on new tricks together: jumps, rotations, whatever you want to focus on. The zodiac has a mast about 1.5 meters high, which means you can pull yourself out of the water easily instead of struggling at the side of the boat.

The operator keeps a range of wake supports on hand (wakeboard, surf, foil), so if you want to try something different during the session, you can switch. Instruction is in English or French, and the team handles safety and equipment throughout.
