Korcula ATV Riding: Views, Wine Village & Estate Feast
You operate the buggy yourself through forests and vineyards, then eat and drink at a 600-year-old family estate
ATV riding on Korcula takes you behind the wheel of your own buggy for a 3–4 hour route across the island's interior, with stops at a panoramic overlook of the Old Town, the wine village of Lumbarda, and Vela Pržina beach. The defining trait is that you drive, not a passenger watching, and the route ends at a private family estate where Ana and Branko, the original founders, host a tasting of their homemade wines, prosciutto, cheese and traditional sweets. A guide in English leads the group. Children from age 2 are welcome. Return to your ship is guaranteed on time.

The experience
You arrive at Žrnovska Banja after a 10-minute drive from the port. Ana and Branko meet you there and walk through a safety briefing and buggy handling before you set out. The route climbs to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Korčula Old Town and the archipelago. The team helps you frame photos on your phone before you gear up and head into the lush pine forests and ancient olive groves that cover the island's interior.
The first major stop is Lumbarda, a historic village surrounded by the island's largest vineyards of Grk, a rare local wine. You'll see a World War II monument with views across the bay, and Branko shares stories about the island's history, traditional life and wine-making heritage. Ana offers her homemade natural juice: a detail guests mention often. From there you ride down to Vela Pržina, Korčula's most famous natural sandy beach, where you can swim in the Adriatic or sit at the beachside restaurant and bar (food and drinks at your own cost). The return ride winds back toward the family estate.
The finale happens at Ana and Branko's private property, where their family has lived for over 600 years. You visit their wine cellar, hand-carved and nicknamed by guests the "Underground Man Cave": one of the island's most distinctive wineries. Around a large table you taste their homemade wines, liqueurs, prosciutto, cheese, fresh pancakes and traditional sweets for about 30 minutes. Before the drive back to your ship, they show you a hidden Hunter's Room. The return to port is direct and timed so you're back before the ship departs.
