Swim at three islands and sail back into the sunset with a glass of wine

An island-hopping cruise from Dubrovnik that sails along the city's Old Town walls and Lovrijenac fortress, then stops at three islands in the Elaphite archipelago for swimming and exploration. The boat carries bottled water, local red and white wine, and a choice of grilled fish, chicken or vegetarian lunch; you spend most of the day on Lopud, the largest island, where you can visit the monastery and rector's palace or walk to the popular Šunj beach. The return journey includes a sunset moment with wine on deck.

Step-by-step itinerary

Elaphite Islands and Dubrovnik cruise

  • Swim, coffee, or walk on first island
  • Visit summer house Skočibuha and swim
  • Explore popular island and walk to Šunj beach
  • Enjoy sunset cruise back to port

The Experience

The boat leaves Dubrovnik's port as a two-deck vessel with a qualified crew, and the first stretch is the reason most people book this tour: you sail directly along the walls of Dubrovnik Old Town and past Lovrijenac fortress, seeing the city from the water instead of from inside it. Cold juices and water are available throughout the ride, and the crew speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French and one additional language.

The itinerary moves through three islands. The first stop is brief—time enough for a swim, a coffee or a short walk—before the boat reaches Šipan, one of the biggest islands in the archipelago, where you can visit the summer house Skočibuha and swim again. Lopud is where you spend most of the day. It's the most popular island in the Elaphites, and a short walk across it takes you to Šunj beach, one of the most visited spots in the chain. Lunch happens here: grilled fish with a choice of chicken or vegetarian alternatives, paired with local red or white wine.

The return to port is timed for sunset, when you're back on deck with a glass of wine as the light changes. The whole day runs seven hours. If you want a souvenir, the crew sells a Vivado reusable cup for €3 on board—you can keep it or return it for a full refund before you leave the boat.

What’s included

  • Bottled water and local red and white wine throughout the cruise.
