The experience

The day starts at 9am at the Split office on Vukovarska Street, where you meet the bikes (Ducati or BMW), and go over the route with a coffee or tea at a nearby café. From there the ride heads north along the coast, passing through Marina and Rogoznica before climbing into Primošten, where a short walk up the hillside opens a view across the Adriatic archipelago. The pace keeps the smaller towns close: Šibenik comes next, and by midday you're walking its downtown before heading inland toward Skradin.

At Skradin, the bikes stop and a boat takes over, carrying you upriver into Krka National Park. The waterfalls are the destination. You can swim beneath them or walk the trails depending on the water level and your mood. The park holds the afternoon. The return ride cuts inland through Boraja mountain on a country road, trading the coast for limestone and forest. An authentic Croatian lunch stops along the way if you want it. By 6pm you're back in Split.

The tour is private, so the route bends to what you want to see and where you want to stop. The guide speaks English or Italian and knows the back roads. The helmet and water are provided.
