ATV tour to Biokovo Skywalk

  • Ride ATV through scenic trails
  • Climb Biokovo Mountain
  • Visit Biokovo Skywalk glass platform
  • Enjoy panoramic Adriatic views

The experience

You start with instruction on how to handle the 500cc quad before heading out on the trails. The ride climbs through Biokovo Mountain's rugged terrain, following a route designed to build your confidence on the machine while opening up views of the coastline as you gain elevation. The trails themselves are the point: you're operating the ATV, not watching someone else drive.

The route ends at the Biokovo Skywalk, a glass walkway suspended 1,228 meters above sea level. From there you look down at the Adriatic, the islands, and the town of Makarska far below. The glass platform is the landmark moment, but the ride to get there is what fills most of the 2.5 hours. After time at the Skywalk, you ride back down the mountain.

Bring a valid driver's license. The operator provides the ATV, helmets and all riding gear. The guide rides with the group and speaks English or Croatian. Public transportation options are available near the meeting point if you need them to get there.
