We met our guide right on the sand. He had that easy way locals do, joking about my nervous grip on the handlebars. After a quick rundown (I probably forgot half of it in my excitement), we fired up the jet skis. The engines rumbled under us, and suddenly we were flying past Brasilito beach, wind whipping through my hair.
