You're picked up from your hotel, driven to a private rainforest reserve, and guided through ziplining, rappelling, a waterfall jump, and a Tarzan swing over water — more than 10 activities in one morning. Lunch and snacks are included, as is a bilingual guide and all certified gear. The photographer documents the day, and you return to your hotel by early afternoon.
You're picked up from your Manuel Antonio or Quepos hotel and driven 35 minutes into the protected rainforest reserve that Amigos del Rio runs. The van pulls up to the rancho, and from there a 4x4 takes you down to base camp where the harnesses and helmets come out. This is where the day actually starts — not with a briefing, but with a bilingual guide fitting you into gear and pointing out the first zip line strung between the canopy. The course has more than 10 elements: three jungle lines, four canyon lines, a dry rappel, a waterfall rappel, a free fall into a pool, a Tarzan swing over water, and a nature walk threaded through it all. You're not standing around watching other people go first.
The rhythm of the day is built around moving between stations rather than waiting. Halfway through, a snack appears — nothing fancy, just enough to reset. After you've done the rappels and the swings and the zip lines that cross the canyon, lunch is served at the park. The waterfall ziplining part is the centerpiece: you're literally descending alongside falling water, which sounds like a marketing line until you're actually doing it. A photographer is there the whole time, capturing moments you can buy prints of later if you want them. The guide keeps groups small — maximum 16 people per booking — which means you're not queuing behind thirty strangers between activities.
What makes this different from a standard zip line tour is the mix. You get the adrenaline of the lines, but also the technical skill of rappelling, the oddness of a Tarzan swing, and the simple relief of jumping into a pool. The equipment is certified, the guides speak English and Spanish, and the whole operation — transport, activities, meals — is included in one price. You bring a swimsuit, quick-dry clothes that fit under a harness, water shoes with good grip, and sunscreen. No flip-flops. The drive back to your hotel happens in air conditioning, which matters after six or seven hours in the rainforest heat.

Is this one for you?Book this if you want multiple adrenaline activities in one outing without arranging separate tours — the mix of ziplining, rappelling, and water jumps means you're not repeating the same motion for six hours, and the included meals and transport mean you only show up with a swimsuit and sunscreen.
