The experience
The day starts with paddle boarding on the calm waters of Maracas Bay in Manuel Antonio, then heads south to a series of hidden waterfalls tucked into the Central Pacific jungle. You'll stop at three different waterfalls, each one set up for interaction: jump from ledges, swim behind the falls, or slide down natural water chutes. None of it is mandatory. If you'd rather stay dry and take in the scenery, that's equally valid. The operator provides all the equipment you need, including dry bags, safety gear and a safety rope.
Between the waterfalls, you'll visit a beach with caves that open onto the ocean, then break for lunch at a jungle restaurant serving organic farm-to-table options: fish, chicken or vegan plates. An air-conditioned vehicle handles the transport between sites, and bottled water and snacks are provided throughout. The guide speaks English and leads the whole day, so navigation and timing are handled for you.
