The experience
I didn’t really believe the Glass Bridge at Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon would get to me, but standing there (my sneakers squeaking on the clear panels). I had to laugh at myself. Our guide, Mrs. Chen, grinned and told us not to look down unless we wanted to test our courage. The wind whipped up from the canyon and you could hear people nervously giggling in Mandarin and English both.
