Step-by-step itinerary
Concha y Toro vineyard tour and tasting
- Walk through gardens and family residence
- Learn about grape varieties in Variety Garden
- Visit old Pirque vineyard and view Maipo Valley
- Tour the cellars including Casillero del Diablo
- Taste 3 wines and receive gift glass
- Exclusive tasting of 4 Marques de Casa Concha wines with cheeses
The Experience
The tour starts with a walk through the gardens and park surrounding the Concha y Toro family summer residence, built toward the end of the 19th century. From there you move into the Variety Garden, a working section with 26 different wine grape vines that shows what goes into the vineyard's range. The old Pirque vineyard sits next, followed by a panoramic view of the Maipo Valley—the landscape that frames 130 years of winemaking here.
The cellars come next, and the Casillero del Diablo is the one that matters. This centennial storage area is where the legend of Concha y Toro wine began, and it's the physical heart of what made the vineyard's reputation. You taste three wines as you move through the tour, then finish in the Alto Storage Cellar with the exclusive tasting: four varieties from the Marqués de Casa Concha Super Premium line, each paired with fine cheeses from the region. That's 10 glasses total, and the pairing is built to show how the wines work with food.
A local guide leads the group through the whole experience and explains the processes behind the wines—how they're made, why the vineyard's choices matter, what the different grape varieties bring to the final bottle. The tour runs about 4 hours. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, so you don't arrange transport yourself. You'll need to choose between a morning or afternoon departure when you book.
