The experience

You'll start with pickup from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and head to the partner headquarters, where you'll get fitted with a helmet and gloves and receive a safety briefing before setting out. The bikes are electric-assisted mountain bikes with a 350W central engine, and each one carries special storage bags so you can bring your belongings without slowing down. The route itself covers 32 kilometers through oases and dry valleys, passing through landscapes where the rock changes color as the light shifts: deep reds, ochres, and golds that make the Atacama one of the most photographed deserts in the world.

Along the way you'll stop several times to rest, take photos, and stand in front of the formations that make this place feel otherworldly. The ride ends at the Valley of the Moon Reserve, a natural wonder that looks like terrain from another planet. After you complete the circuit, the professional driver takes you back to your hotel, ending the day on two wheels.

The small-group format, maximum six participants, means you get personalized attention from the guide throughout the ride.
