The experience
The tour departs at 7:45 AM from Cayman Falls Shopping Plaza (across from The Westin on Seven Mile Beach) or from your hotel in the Seven Mile Beach corridor. A certified captain and crew take you by boat across the North Sound toward Stingray City Sandbar, where you'll step into the shallow, crystal-clear water to encounter the southern stingrays that have made this one of Grand Cayman's most recognizable experiences. The animals move freely in their natural environment, and you'll have time in the water with them before the boat continues to Starfish Point.
At Starfish Point, you wade into warm, clear Caribbean water to see the colorful starfish that naturally inhabit the area. If you've booked the Stingrays and Starfish option, the boat returns to the dock after this stop, completing roughly two hours on the water. If you chose the Crystal Caves add-on (available Fridays and Saturdays only), a 15-minute ride takes you inland to Cayman Crystal Caves, where a guide leads you through three spectacular caves and the surrounding tropical forest for 90 minutes. You'll see stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years and hear stories of the caves' past as hideouts for Caribbean pirates.
After the caves, you'll have 30 to 40 minutes of free time at a Caribbean beach club to eat, drink or rest by the water at your own expense, then board the boat for a scenic return across Grand Cayman's coastal waters. Snorkeling equipment (fins, snorkel, mask and life vest), water and fruit punch are provided throughout. The tour includes admission to the Cayman Islands Marine Park and, if selected, admission and guided entry to the caves.
Is this one for you?The basic tour runs three hours and operates Monday through Thursday, while the Crystal Caves add-on extends it to five hours and is available only Fridays and Saturdays. Choose the caves option if you want to see underground formations and have the extra time. Pick the stingrays and starfish option if you prefer a shorter morning or afternoon on the water.

It's available only on Fridays and Saturdays, and extends the total tour from three hours to up to five hours. What's included in the tour price, and what do I need to pay for separately?
