The Experience
The tour starts in Gastown, where the guide introduces the neighbourhood's history and the famous Steam Clock before you mount an e-scooter and head toward Canada Place. The route follows the waterfront seawall, passing Coal Harbour's marinas and seaplane port, then cuts through Stanley Park—one of North America's largest urban parks at 405 hectares. You ride more than you stop, so the day moves at a pace that covers ground without dragging.
Granville Island comes next, and this is where the group takes a break. It sits on False Creek as a peninsula known for its Public Market, arts scene and food vendors, so you have time to grab lunch from dozens of options before riding again. The guide points out the Olympic Village complex and the North Shore Mountains framing the modern architecture as you approach the final stop.
Science World, the geodesic dome at the eastern end of False Creek, is where the tour ends. Before you finish, everyone gets a turn on an electric unicycle—the guide gives instruction and you try it yourself. Helmets, ankle and shin guards, wrist guards and water are all included; the operator provides either an e-scooter or an EUC (electric unicycle) depending on what you choose to ride.
