The Experience
Up to six hours on the water means you hit three major snorkel sites without rushing. The boat is yours alone—no crowded group departures, no waiting for strangers to gear up. A professional crew handles the sailing while you focus on what's below: Norman Island's sea caves, believed to have inspired pirate legends, sit in crystal-clear water surrounded by rock formations. Swim into them and the marine life—parrotfish, snappers, sea turtles—is immediate and dense.
Pirate's Bight, a beach on Norman Island, gives you a break to swim or sit. There's a beachfront restaurant if you want food or a drink at your own cost. The snorkeling here is strong too; sea turtles show up regularly. Then you sail to The Indians, a set of dramatic rock formations rising from the water. The snorkel site is often called a natural aquarium—vibrant coral, tropical fish, and for confident swimmers, small underwater passages and cave-like formations to explore. The whole thing ends with a sail back, time to photograph the islands and feel the ocean.
Pickup happens at your location, and the guide speaks English or Spanish. Snorkel equipment, soft drinks, juice, fruit and energy bars are included. Infants sit on an adult's lap. The trip suits all fitness levels, though it's not recommended for people with poor cardiovascular health.

What are the sea caves at Norman Island actually like to snorkel in?
Norman Island's sea caves sit in crystal-clear water surrounded by towering rock formations. You swim into them and encounter marine life—parrotfish, snappers, and sea turtles—in the shadowed water. The caves are believed to have inspired pirate stories and treasure tales, adding history to the underwater experience.
Is The Indians good for beginner snorkelers, or do I need experience?
The Indians works for all snorkelers. The coral reefs and tropical fish are visible in shallow water for anyone comfortable in a mask and fins. For confident swimmers and free divers, there are also small underwater passages and cave-like formations to explore, so the site scales to your comfort level.
How does pickup work if I don't have a car?
The crew picks you up at your location in the British Virgin Islands and returns you there after the trip. You don't arrange transport to a dock or a meeting point; they come to you.
What's included in the price, and what do I need to pay extra for?
Snorkel equipment, soft drinks, juice, fruit and energy bars are included. Lunch is not included, so you can bring your own or buy food at Pirate's Bight restaurant on Norman Island at your own cost.
How long is the whole trip, and what's the schedule?
The trip runs up to six hours on the water. You sail to Norman Island's caves first, then to Pirate's Bight for a break, then to The Indians for the main snorkel site, and finally sail back. The crew sets the pace based on conditions and your group's interests.
