Soar 150 meters above Pinheirinho Valley and see the forest from a new height

Ziplining in Brotas pairs two long ziplines (1.1 km and 800 meters) with a forest hike and waterfall visit in the Pinheirinho River Valley. The activity runs about four hours and includes a specialized guide, all safety gear, private transport from your hotel, water and juice, and Porto Seguro insurance. Children from age 13 are welcome. Weight limits are 50–110 kg. The forest trail and waterfall are subject to cancellation on rainy days.

The experience

You fly on two ziplines strung across the Pinheirinho River Valley (the first stretches 1.1 km, the second 800 meters) with a guide managing your descent and safety throughout. The setup is what separates this from a single-line experience: the valley itself becomes the backdrop, and the second line gives you a different angle on the forest below. You'll wear full protective equipment and harness, and the guide handles the technical side. Your job is to move through the setup, clip in, and let the line carry you across.

Between the ziplines, you walk a 2 km trail through dense forest and reach a waterfall: a chance to cool off and reset before the second flight. The trail and waterfall can be cancelled if rain makes the ground unsafe, so the day adapts to the weather. You'll need to bring water shoes or sneakers that can handle wet ground, a swimsuit under your clothes, and dry shoes to change into afterward. The operator provides water and juice throughout.

The full experience takes about four hours. You arrive 30 minutes early for safety briefing and gear check. Private transport picks you up from your hotel and brings you back, so there's no separate logistics to arrange. The activity is open to ages 13 and up, and the operator carries Porto Seguro insurance as part of the booking.
