The experience
The day starts at the agency in Brotas, where you check in and get transported to Fazenda N.S. Aparecida. Once there, guides fit you with personal protective equipment and walk through the setup. The zipline itself runs 120 meters (high enough that it ranks among Brazil's tallest), and the ride is the centerpiece of the morning. If you weigh under 50kg, you'll fly tandem with another participant, as long as your combined weight stays under 110kg.
After the ziplines, the guides lead you onto a 2km trail through dense forest toward Cachoeira Cristal. The trail is subject to cancellation during heavy rain, but when it runs, you get time to swim and rest at the waterfall before heading back. Transport returns you to the agency at the end. Bring swimwear under your clothes, water shoes (mandatory), sunscreen and a change of dry clothes. The trail and water mean you'll get wet.

Is this one for you?Guides speak English, Spanish and Portuguese, so you can follow the instructions and the forest trail commentary in your language. The 120-meter height and tandem option for lighter participants mean the zipline itself suits most ages and builds, though anyone with spinal injuries, cardiovascular concerns or pregnancy should skip this one.
