Step-by-step itinerary

Morning sail and snorkeling tour

  • Board the tour boat at 09:00
  • Relax and enjoy snacks and lunch
  • View underwater reef through observation windows
  • Snorkel among vibrant marine life
  • Return to shore by 13:00

The experience

You board at 09:00 and sail toward Klein Bonaire, where the real draw is the choice between two ways to see the reef. The boat itself is a one-time vessel of Jacques Cousteau, now fitted with an underwater observation area: large windows that let you watch the marine life below while you sit dry and comfortable on deck. Colorful corals, tropical fish and the occasional sea turtle move past the glass. If you want to get in the water instead, snorkeling gear is provided and you can swim among the same reef the observation area overlooks.

The morning runs from 09:00 to 13:00, which leaves most of your afternoon free for other plans around the island. All-inclusive snacks and lunch arrive while you're on the water, so you're not breaking the day into separate eating stops. Note that Bonaire's protected waters require a Stinapa Tag, which you'll need to purchase separately before the tour starts.

  • refreshing drinks and all-inclusive snacks.

Is this one for you?The 4-hour morning window (09:00 to 13:00) leaves your afternoon open for other activities or downtime, making this a good fit if you want snorkeling without sacrificing the rest of your day. The boat's underwater observation area means you can see the reef even if you don't want to snorkel, so there's no single way to experience it.
