The experience
Sail Bermuda operates this charter with over 20 years of experience picking anchorages and timing to avoid crowds. You depart from either Dockyard or Hamilton and spend the morning and early afternoon on the water. Three hours is the standard, though you can ask the captain about extending if the day is going well. The boat is yours alone. No other groups share the deck or the stops.
What you actually do depends on what your group wants. Snorkel the vibrant reef systems and shipwrecks offshore, or stay in the calm bays and paddle around secluded islands in a clear kayak where you can watch marine life below. Paddleboards are set up for quieter exploration. If someone wants a thrill, the crew can take you to a safe cliff-jumping spot. If the pace is slower, you anchor near a sandbank for swimming and floating. The guide knows the conditions and the marine life, and steers the day toward what suits your group.
Snorkeling equipment, a clear double kayak and paddleboards are all on board. If you want to eat, catering can be ordered through the website beforehand. The crew collects it, serves it, and handles the cleanup while you stay on the water. Cruise ship passengers should book a 10am departure to allow time for disembarkation if the ship arrives at 9am.
