A two-stop snorkeling activity from Dockyard that takes you to a shipwreck and a coral reef accessible only by boat, with snorkel gear and flotation noodles or vests provided. The English-speaking captain and crew guide you through sea fans, coral formations and fish species suited to beginners and intermediate snorkelers. Minimum age is 7; swimmers must be competent in deep water and able to climb a swim ladder unassisted.
The Experience
You board a boat at Dockyard and head out to two separate snorkel sites. The first stop is a shipwreck—a real wreck you can explore underwater—and the second is a vibrant coral reef that sits too far offshore to reach any other way. Both spots hold different things to see: the wreck has its own history and structure, while the reef is alive with sea fans, coral formations and several fish species. The boat passes key coastal landmarks on the way out, and the captain and crew point out what matters as you go.
Snorkel gear is included, along with a flotation noodle or snorkel vest so you stay comfortable in the water. The activity runs about two and a half hours total. You'll need to be a competent swimmer able to handle water too deep to stand in, and you climb on and off the boat using steps and a swim ladder on your own. The tour runs only if weather holds and enough people sign up, so book with that in mind.
